Lawn seeding and turf laying around Lake Balaton
We offer lawn seeding, turf laying and lawn renovation on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. We establish new lawns from seed or by laying turf, and renovate existing lawns with aeration and overseeding in and around Keszthely, Hévíz and Sümeg.
A dense, green lawn is no accident: it requires careful soil preparation, a climate-appropriate seed mix and regular aftercare. The sandy soil and hot climate of the Balaton region call for a special seed blend. During installation we do the full soil preparation and, if needed, install an irrigation system. For existing lawns we offer aeration, scarifying, moss removal and patching.
What's included
Lawn seeding
Seeding is the more economical option if you can wait for the lawn to establish. After thorough soil preparation, we sow a grass seed mix suited to the sandy soils and hot summers around Lake Balaton, and give you watering advice until the seed germinates. The best times to sow are spring and early autumn.
Turf laying
Turf gives you an instantly green, usable lawn, so it's ideal if you want a finished lawn quickly or need to grass a sloping area prone to erosion. We handle the whole job: preparing the soil, levelling the surface, laying and rolling the turf, and giving you watering advice for the first few weeks.
Renovating an existing lawn
If your lawn is patchy, mossy or thin, you don't always need to start again. With aeration, scarifying, moss removal and overseeding, an existing lawn can be brought back, and we repair any bare or dead patches.

Turf costs more but gives you a finished lawn straight away; seeding is cheaper but takes longer to establish. After the assessment, we'll quote for both options.
